Post 5: My future job

Well, as I’m studying pedagogy, the greatest interest I have is working with communities, so I don't just expect to work in schools or kindergarden only with children. I would like to work in heritage places, where there is a multidisciplinary work with different professionals who contribute to the construction of knowledge with the communities that link these spaces.
I believe that working in these non conventional spaces can allow teaching and learning to expand in a globalizing perspective. I imagine interacting directly with children, families and teachers, inviting them to get to know their culture and get involved in it, through workshops with schools, kindergardens and in addition with the surrounding communities.
About traveling, it would be relevant to get to know other countries and how they work on their culture and teach it to be able to integrate and improve the curriculum in this area in preschool education. I also hope to work in statal places like museums or libraries, so I hope that the salary is decent and compensatory to the work of a pedagogue.
I would like to study more in depth topics of my interest to be able to investigate and enrich my knowledge and help transform the country's educational system and the perspective of it. I would also like to visibilize the work of preschool educators and the impact that these levels have on children in the future.

Post 4: Euthanasia

Euthanasia is a complex subject to discuss in this country, but I think that given the cases of people who are asking to die since their health condition is getting worse every day, ending their lives must be legal and it should be a human right that can’t be denied to anyone in those circumstances.
Euthanasia allows people to have a dignified death and not continue to suffer and endure pain until they deteriorate their body, why people can not die when they want to? Why is someone else deciding when is your last day in this world and not yourself who decides over your own body and life? I feel that it is a totally selfish thought not to legalize euthanasia, since we still consider that there is someone with a “reasoning” greater than yours capable of making decisions for you.
In this country, the thought is so individualistic that we only think if we are going to miss the person who is sick and how much we will need it when they are not here instead of having the empathy to understand that a person is no longer able to live fully or willing to continue suffering.
Is it possible that this law project will one day become effective? There have been cases in Chile such as Paula Díaz, who asked the president of that time to please authorize euthanasia, since she suffered from an undetectable condition that did not allow her to live in peace. It is necessary to stop thinking individually and expand the perspectives with empathy, in this case, recognizing that each person has the ability to decide over their own body as a human right.

Blog 3: Everyone should be a vegetarian

Vegetarianism promotes the environment to continue with its cycles in a natural way and does not intervene, because animals help improve its quality. Due to the decline in the world caused by global warming, vegetarianism invites us to stop consuming food of animal origin that is one of the most polluted industries in the world.
Vegetarianism is the first step to reduce the demand for products of animal origin, inviting to be about the processes that are carried out to produce and understand the damage they are being to the environment and the planet. It also allows us to understand that animals are being used and slaughtered so that people can sacrifice their nutritional needs.
It is necessary to highlight the profit that is generated with the sacrifice of animals, which can begin to be understood once you can become a vegetarian, invite to continue with this line and be vegan, completely eliminate animal foods from your diet and your life.
Begin by eliminating the consumption of meats from your diet in a great step to start this life change, encouraging you to learn new preparations and recipes that can replace protein in the diet. It is necessary to be aware of this change, understanding it as a lifestyle change and not just the food diet.
